Graphics file formats test
The selection forgoes animated GIF,
because animated GIF is displayed from currently most commonly used Web browsers.
For all Graphics file formats a small explanation with type, colors and size
make it possible to compare the graphics directly. The test with
PNG's alpha channel is
a supplement for the transparency test between GIF-
and PNG-graphics.

At present not all browsers support the JPEG-2000 Graphics file formats. On several os platforms it is supported by libraries from the used Desktop/operating system or by browser plugins.

Some browsers will not display transparency images, other display the transparency part with white or grey background. Both sample images have 256 colors.
